ABOTA supports statement of Chief Justice Roberts in rejecting calls for judicial impeachment

DALLAS, March 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Board of Trial Advocates endorses the rare statement issued by United States Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts rebuking the calls for impeachment of judges who have ruled against the orders of the current administration. His succinct statement was as follows:
"For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision.The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose."
