Asian Hall of Fame Opening Night Benefit Supports Wildfires Relief

Global legacy platform advances local community support
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Asian Hall of Famewill host its season's Opening Night Benefiton March 1 at Biltmore Los Angeles. Proceeds from the black-tie event support the American Red Cross and families affected by the wildfires. It will also benefit Asian Hall of Fame's Women in Tech, Entertainment & Arts Program.
Keynote speaker Congresswoman Judy Chu(Class of 2020) will recognize major supporters Lily Liu and Melinda Rogers. Official Hotel Partner Millennium Hotel & Resorts, Title Sponsor Wells Fargo, and Wine Sponsor Faith Ocean will present remarks. The menu is customized by new Executive Chef Melissa Godinez.
Asian Hall of Fame's multinational and multigenerational lineup will open with colorful dances by Kim Eung Hwa Korean Dance Academy. 13-language Grammy vocalist Maki Mae(America's Got Talent) performs fan favorites from Phantom of the Opera, Lakme in French, and Mozart's Queen of the Night aria in German. Her duets with Lily Liu in "Panis Angelicus" and Aubrey Leonard in "Pie Jesu" are accompanied by Jason Loand musical director Ed Roth. Maki will also perform violin and voice in "You Raise Me Up" and make her live debut of "Sour Times" and "Hallelujah".
Jazz beats from the Martini Club trio segway to Team USA dance duo Reagan To and Daniil Babenkowho will also perform a number to the Netflix hit "Squid Game." "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by powerhouse Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja(American Idol) and dance numbers with MTV Asia choreographer Aukai Cainclose the evening.
Asian Hall of Fame's auction baskets feature luxury purses from Louis Vuitton, Dior, BVLGARI, Burberry and Prada. The St. John trunk show includes new brand presenter Reformation. "Buy It Now" autographed memorabilia has signed guitars and other exclusive items from Taylor Swift, Shohei Ohtani, Billie Eilish, amongst others.
Couture gifts in Mystery Gold Boxes include Hermes, Cartier, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior and Gucci. Artwork by Xiao Ming Lin and Zhong Xiu Ding will be on display. Doors open at 4:00 p.m., and the program is 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
