What happened?
On or around February 24, 2024, TPS experienced a network issue and began an investigation with the help of cybersecurity professionals. The investigation revealed that an unauthorized individual had accessed certain files between February 18 and February 20, 2024. Further analysis confirmed that some of these files contained sensitive personal information. On February 14, 2025, TPS filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General of Maine.
