OMAHA, Neb., March 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ --eX Technology, aVivacity, LLC company and single source solution for those seeking to build, scale or future proof their communications infrastructure, announces today it has been selected to construct a next-generation wireless infrastructure project in Yuma County, Arizona. As currently designed, eX Technology will construct 27 tower structures across the County to advance water conservation and precision agriculture efforts.
Yuma County ranks in the top 1/10th of one percent of all U.S. counties in agricultural production. With 190,000 acres of cropland, of which 94% is irrigated, agriculture brings $3.2 billion annually to Yuma County. The wireless infrastructure is necessary to support key initiatives and industries such as precision agriculture, water resource management and sustainability, as well as advanced connectivity services for residents and businesses.
"This infrastructure will be a catalyst for enabling smart irrigation systems, including remote soil sensing, automation and mechanization, as well as socio-economic growth," said Ian McGaughey, Yuma County Administrator. "It will positionYuma County as a leader in agricultural technology and connectivity for years to come."
"eX Technology is honored to have been selected by Yuma County to create the transformative wireless infrastructure that connects farmers and communities while supporting other Yuma County industries," said Christopher Rabii, CEO, Vivacity Infrastructure Group. "Through our partnership, we will deliver a solution that helps address the needs of rural and urban areas, paving the way for economic expansion and technological advancement."
