LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- In an effort to help those impacted by the recent Los Angeles area wildfires, Gino's East of Chicago in Los Angeles has pledged $5 from the sale of each large Chicago Fire pizza sold until March 31st to the Los Angeles County Fire Relief Fund.

The Chicago Fire is a signature pizza of the highly popular Gino's East. It features hot and spicy sausage, fire roasted red peppers, red onions and is topped with a whole roasted jalapeno. It is available as either a Deep Dish or thin crust Tavern Style pizza.

In 1871, Chicago suffered a devastating fire that leveled the city. Horrific as it was, Chicago rose from the ashes and planted the roots of the modern city that it is.

"As Angeleno transplants, it's heartbreaking to see the damage from the fires, both human and structural," noted Gino's East LA co-owner Tod Himmel, "but like Chicago, we believe LA will rise again and we want to do our part to help."

Gino's East of Chicago, was established Chicago in 1966. Their location in Sherman Oaks recently marked their 5th anniversary. Rather than have a celebration they decided to pitch in to help those impacted by the fires in Los Angeles.

Gino's Eastis located at 12924 Riverside Drive in Sherman Oaks, California. It has been named "Best Pizza in the Southland" by LA Times readers two years in a row.
