Global Military Products Awarded Contract Exceeding $635 Million for 155mm Artillery Munitions

TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Military Products (GMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Ordnance Holdings, has been awarded a $639.8 million firm-fixed- price contract by the U.S. Army for the procurement of 155mm High Explosive complete rounds in support of the Special Ammunitions and Weapons Systems program.

As part of this award, GMP will leverage its collaboration with Rheinmetall Expal Munitions to ensure timely delivery of high-quality 155mm rounds that meet the Army's operational needs. Production is scheduled to begin in 2026, with an estimated completion date of July 10, 2027. The Army Contracting Command, Rock Island, Illinois, is the contracting activity (W519TC-25-F-0388).
