Langan Acquires ATR Engineering in Houston

PARSIPPANY, N.J., Feb. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Langan Engineering & Environmental Services announced today the acquisition of ATR Engineering, a Houston-based site/civil engineering firm specializing in land development in multiple sectors, including commercial, warehouse and multifamily residential. Founded in 2002, ATR is led by Aaron Rendon, a respected consultant with more than 30 years of experience in Greater Houston.
"We are excited to continue our growth in Texas by adding Aaron and his team to Langan," said David T. Gockel, President/CEO, Langan. "ATR brings great local expertise and a strong reputation among key clients in Houston."
This news marks Langan's third acquisition in the state and expands Langan's Texas workforce to 140 employees. Aaron Rendon, ATR's founder and president, becomes a Senior Associate at Langan with his team joining the firm's Houston office led by Kyle Bogardus, Senior Principal. Langan's Texas footprint also includes offices in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Tyler and Celina.
