TMS INTERNATIONAL NAMES NEW PRESIDENT AND CEO

PITTSBURGH, Feb. 20, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- TMS International Corporation proudly announces the appointment of Joel Hawthorne as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective March 3, 2025.
Mr. Hawthorne, pictured, will succeed Raymond Kalouche as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Kalouche, who has been with the company for 36 years, will continue as Chairman of Board where he will support a successful transition.
Mr. Hawthorne's experience spans more than 35 years in the manufacturing and metals industries. Previously, Mr. Hawthorne served as President and CEO at EverZinc (formerly U.S. Zinc and EverZinc S.A.). Prior to that he served as CEO at American Zinc Recycling (formerly Horsehead Corporation), Specialty Steel Works Inc. (formerly Optima Specialty Steel, Inc.), and GrafTech International Ltd. (formerly UCAR International). Mr. Hawthorne earned his master's and bachelor's degrees from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.
