LINCOLN, Neb., Oct. 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- According to the newest Sandhills Globalmarket reports for used construction equipment, farm machinery, trucks, and trailers on Sandhills platforms in September, inventory levels are leveling out for both heavy-duty and medium-duty construction equipment. An upward trend in inventory levels also continued for used aerial lifts, forklifts, and telehandlers.

Used heavy-duty construction equipment values are still trending down at a steady rate, and used medium-duty equipment values have begun leveling out, posting modest monthly changes in September.

Inventory levels in this market increased 1.86% M/M in September but decreased 8.31% YOY and are trending down. The used mini excavator category exhibited the largest M/M inventory increase at 4.7%, while used loader backhoes led other categories in YOY inventory decreases with a 19.73% drop.
