MELBOURNE, Fla., Feb. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- WellHive, the leading care navigation technology for the Federal government, has announced a new partnership with Grow Therapy, the nation's leading mental health provider network. Through this joint effort, WellHive will integrate real-time digital scheduling access to Grow Therapy's extensive network of tens of thousands of licensed mental and behavioral healthcare providers. Customers such as the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will benefit from efficient access to exceptional care delivered by providers who are not only trusted experts but also equipped with Grow's advanced care delivery suite.
In 2023, WellHive was selected as the technology vendor for the Veterans Health Administration's (VHA) External Provider Scheduling (EPS) program. This enterprise initiative is aimed at modernizing the appointment scheduling process for Veterans receiving care through VHA's regional networks of private providers. By utilizing WellHive's technology, VA staff can seamlessly search provider profiles, compare appointment availability across community care networks, and schedule Veteran appointments directly within the platform. This access and visibility has reduced a largely manual process, which consisted of multiple phone calls to schedule a single appointment, to a matter of minutes.
"We all understand how vital timely access to high-quality mental health services is for the Veteran community," said Chris Bickell, CEO of WellHive. "From the beginning of our work with the VA, we recognized the importance of not only ensuring real-time access to mental health care but also ensuring that this access leads to care from providers who are truly exceptional. Partnering with Grow Therapy, whose network is built on a foundation of clinical excellence, will have an immediate and positive impact on Veterans and their families, particularly those in rural areas where timely and accessible mental health care remains a significant challenge.
"The people who have made sacrifices to serve our country deserve effective, personalized mental healthcare without the burden of red tape or extensive waiting periods," said Dr. Inder Dhillon, MD, Senior Medical Director of Grow Therapy. "Working alongside our partners at WellHive, Grow Therapy is committed to providing veterans with timely access to the highest quality care available."
